2014-2015 ACSIP Plans

Covenant Keepers has been selected to participate in the testing of the state’s ACSIP pilot, using Indistar software to develop our school improvement plan for the 2014-2015 school year. Our first submission of our plan to the state will be due November 1.

2014-2015 Tentative IMOs

Change in Teacher/Leader Practice

  • Benchmark 1: By August 4, 100% of the teachers will have been introduced to and trained in GANAG lesson planning, high yield strategies and NWEA MAP Reports evidenced by presentation documents, professional development sign-in sheets, and meeting agendas.
  • Benchmark 2: By December 19, 30% of the teachers will have effectively implemented GANAG lesson planning, high yield strategies and utilized NWEA MAP data in their classroom, as evidenced through lesson plans and/or classroom observations.
  • Benchmark 3: By March 20, 60% of the teachers will have effectively implemented GANAG lesson planning, high yield strategies and utilized NWEA MAP data in their classroom, as evidenced through lesson plans and/or classroom observations.
  • Benchmark 4: By June 4, 90% of the teachers will have effectively implemented GANAG lesson planning, high yield strategies and utilized NWEA MAP data in their classroom, as evidenced through lesson plans and/or classroom observations.
  • Benchmark 5: By September 30, the administrative team will be trained in the reflective walkthrough tool aligned with GANAG lesson planning, and provide feedback once a week for 75% of the teachers
  • Benchmark 6: By December 19, the administrative team will be trained in the reflective walkthrough tool aligned with GANAG lesson planning, and provide feedback once a week for 80% of the teachers.
  • Benchmark 7: By March 20, the administrative team will be trained in the reflective walkthrough tool aligned with GANAG lesson planning, and provide feedback once a week for 85% of the teachers.
  • Benchmark 7: By June 4 the administrative team will be trained in the reflective walkthrough tool aligned with GANAG lesson planning, and provide feedback once a week for 90% of the teachers.

Student Growth and Achievement

  • Benchmark 1: Summer IMO for Literacy and Math: By August 31, 100% of students will have established a baseline RIT score for reading, math, and language MAP Assessments as evidenced by NWEA Reports.
  • Benchmark 2: Fall IMO for Literacy: By November 7, 50% of students will increase 2 or more points from their summer score on the reading and language MAP Assessments as evidenced by recorded test scores. This point increase was determined by NWEA’s Point Calculator, developed by NWEA’s research team.
  • Benchmark 3: Fall IMO for Math: By November 7, 50% of students will increase 2 or more points from their summer score on the math MAP Assessment as evidenced by recorded test scores. This point increase was determined by NWEA’s Point Calculator, developed by NWEA’s research team.
  • Benchmark 4: Winter IMO for Literacy: By January 30, 50% of students will show 40% of expected growth on the reading and language MAP Assessments as evidenced by NWEA reports.
  • Benchmark 5: Winter IMO for Math: By January 30, 50% of students will show 40% of expected growth on the math MAP Assessment as evidenced by NWEA reports.
  • Benchmark 6: Spring IMO for Literacy: By May 15, 50% of students will show 90% of expected growth on the reading and language MAP Assessments as evidenced by NWEA reports.
  • Benchmark 7: Spring IMO for Math: By May 15, 50% of students will show 90% of expected growth on the math MAP Assessment as evidenced by NWEA reports.

Student Safety and Discipline

  • Benchmark 1: Compared to last year's data for first quarter, by October 17, data will show a 5% decrease of out of school suspensions for the first quarter, as evidenced by referral forms and/or suspension data.
  • Benchmark 2: Compared to last year's data for second quarter, by December 19, data will show a 5% decrease of out of school suspensions for the second quarter, as evidenced by referral forms and/or suspension data.
  • Benchmark 3: Compared to last year's data for third quarter, by March 20, data will show a 5% decrease of out of school suspensions for the third quarter, as evidenced by referral forms and/or suspension data.
  • Benchmark 4: Compared to last year's data for fourth quarter, by June 4, data will show a 5% decrease of out of school suspensions for the fourth quarter, as evidenced by referral forms and/or suspension data.

Parent/Community Involvement

  • Benchmark 1: Compared to last year's data for first quarter, data will show a 5% increase in parent participation in Family Night, as evidenced by sign-in sheets.
  • Benchmark 2: Compared to last year's data for second quarter, data will show a 5% increase in Parent/Teacher Conferences in October, as evidenced by sign-in sheets.
  • Benchmark 3: Compared to last year's data for third quarter, data will show a 5% increase in Parent/Teacher Conferences in February, as evidenced by sign-in sheets.
  • Benchmark 4: Compared to last year's data for fourth quarter, data will show a 5% increase in our Cinco de Mayo Celebration, as evidenced by sign-in sheets.
